We are looking for a part-time bookkeeper/ accounting assistant to work closely with the company accountant. Candidate must be a responsible and trustworthy individual that can handle aspects like data entry, credit card processing, filing as well as general office tasks, who is keen on numbers and has a customer service background. This candidate will support the accounting team for administrative tasks and take calls from customers to resolve payment issues. The role will be involved in many daily responsibilities, and can grow into full-time and other company functions. Position reports directly to the Accounting Manager.
Skills & Requirements:
● Attentive to detail and accurate with data entry. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and make decisions in accordance with established policies and regulations. Excellent Customer Service demeanor over the phone; helpful and pleasant to customers Good attendance record. Polite, courteous and tactful. ● Courtesy and respect are expected at all times towards ALL members of our team and customer
● Company will train candidate in QuickBooks Enterprise Edition and Internal systems focal point by Visum.
● Good Computer Skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Email a must. Data Entry, Filing, ● Credit Card Payment Processing and AP statement reconciliation Cross-reference Credit Card Statements to Accounts Payable Logs Filing of all documents, General Office Support.
Part-Time (Hourly position) with the opportunity to grow into full-time and other company functions.
