Summary The Global Payroll Manager will join our HR Team to manage the daily operations of the international and US payroll teams to ensure all payments are made to employees in countries ensuring accurate timely processing of payroll in accordance with all federal state and local tax regulations as well as local country tax regulations In addition you will be responsible for making recommendations to improve and enhance the department prepare and develop a variety of reports for external and internal resources ensure accurate tax filings as well as establishing the guidelines and procedures for the payroll department The ideal candidate is one who demonstrates a strong knowledge of payroll processes with an attention to detail absolute discretion and strong collaboration managerial skills Strong knowledge of payroll processes needs to include knowledge of how to post stock transactions that comply with federal and state tax regulations as well as local country tax regulations Your work history should demonstrate job stability with increasing levels of responsibility Responsibilities Manage the disbursement of US and international payrolls including benefits and taxes to employees consistent with federal state and local county regulations Perform monthly transactional SOX review to ensure payroll processes are compliant with established department controls Ensure the processing of new hires temporary workers transfers promotions and terminations are completed accurately timely that is in regulatory compliance and follows internal procedures that is modeled after best practices Manage reporting from ADP Workforce Now and ADP Streamlinea s rd party local payroll providers as it relates to management reports to include but not limited to gross payroll tax deductions benefit deductions and employee status change requests Manage staff of Payroll Administrators Lead recommend and participate in projects to continually review and improve current processes Manage and audit Ws and yearly administration of payroll in preparation of the following calendar year Build and nurture strong working relationships with all levels of the organization Work closely with key clients rd party providers HR Finance Accounting and others to resolve issues and drive end to end process improvements Maintain communication with payroll service providers regarding software updates and new products available to be able to initiate the use of new features Along with HR oversight of k contributions loan payments and match Partner with Stock Administrator to manage the accurate posting of RSU releases and exercise of stock options for all international stock plan participants Qualifications Minimum of years global payroll experience with at least years of proven management leadership responsibility Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or similar ADP Workforce Now experience required ADP Streamline experience preferred Must have understanding and strong knowledge of payroll and stock taxation Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Must have the aptitude to use SaaS tools like Time Bank Google Mail etc Strong knowledge of payroll related technology solutions Strong aptitude and proficiency in MS Office products including Word Excel and PowerPoint Advanced analytical skills required Public company working experience required CPP designation preferred
