A Marketing Coordinator's job entails assisting and implementing all marketing strategies by developing various elements essential for the growth of a company. They mainly focus on planning and market research to develop their marketing strategies. A Marketing Coordinator generally works under a Manager and carries out several tasks to facilitate marketing campaigns, social media and strategic business plans. Marketing Coordinator role is to collaborate with the leadership team and help support and manage the business efficiently. This position will be located in Redwood Shores, CA and you will be working for our locally known agency, Penn Mutual Northern California Agency. Responsibilities: Completing sales-related and marketing administrative projects that include running marketing and sales reports, conducting research on company and other assignments in database. Maintaining agency social media site and training for agents within company compliance guidelines. Providing assistance in terms of logistics to events like seminars and agency meetings Assisting in writing and editing sales and marketing materials, which include articles, presentations, white papers, and collateral. Maintaining project tracking spread sheets and business line marketing calendars. Providing administrative aid for various projects related to marketing, which may include scheduling project meetings and taking and distributing notes from meetings. Serving as a liaison between agency and the company, print suppliers, Home Office, and various marketing services. Preparing press releases, company newsletter and event announcements. Updating agency website. Working knowledge of Penn Mutual's Producers Place website and directs advisers to pre-developed materials in order to meet their needs and promote awareness of inventory. Assisting in promotional strategies and product development. Preparing invitations, event agenda, and registration for events. Providing marketing administrative support to Leadership Team. The support includes preparing collateral for appointments and agendas. Generating thank you letters, form letters for mailing mass brochures to prospective customers. Coordinating catered events for client visits and staff events Validating and fulfilling requests related to agency marketing. Bachelors degree preferred 1-3 years of Administrative and/or Marketing experience 1-3 years of experience with database management Experience in the financial services industry preferred Possess skills in project management. Working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Knowledge of marketing principles. Understand new technologies and applying to marketing principles. Excellent copyright skills and able to rework on technical aspects for a broad range of audience. Effective presentation skills and acquire market information and answer to questions from team of managers, clients and staff. Capable of writing reports, procedures and business correspondence. Ability to work individually on self-driven projects. Effective performance equivalent to all levels of employees. Demonstrate ability to solve problems, analyze systems and data and suggest appropriate solutions. Master skills in organization, prioritization and time management. Should have product awareness and customer service. Work under stress to meet project deadlines and minute attention to detail. Attention to detail and accuracy in performance. Highly self-motivated individual.
