Our very successful Il Fornaio Cucina Italiana, centrally located on the San Francisco Pennisula, is looking for an experienced Sous Chef. Candidates must be able to coordinate all prep and line staff to correctly execute quality recipes and food presentations. Responsibilities include: \"Running the line\" and ensuring accuracy and excellent guest service Food purchasing, invoicing, inventory and cost control Scheduling, employee training and reviews Adhering to all food and facility safety standards Communicating clearly with managers, kitchen, front of house staff and guests Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of timeExperience in a full service restaurant is required.
