SAP Technology & Innovation Platform - Enterprise Information Management Data Services group provides efficiently design ETL processes, a scalable enterprise-level data integration platform (Data Services), metadata management and data profiling (Information Steward) with trusted data and analysis capabilities. Data Integration Sustaining Engineering team is seeking a highly motivated and energetic software developer who is responsible for the development and Sustaining Data Services product cross Windows and Linux/Unix platforms. We are looking for a Software Engineer to join one of SAP's key develoipment groups in Palo Alto. The sucessful candidate for this hands-on role will have a passion to work on the latest technoloies and enthusiam to build their career with a company that is the leader in enterprise software application development. Expectations and Task: Work on object-oriented and/or Java/Web Application product development and maintenance on Windows as well as different flavors of UNIX environments. Interact with Customer Assurance and Customers on product issues/escalations. Understand the customer technical requirements or problems and seek alternative solutions. Provide fixes for product defects in maintenance and functional releases. Work with Product Management in enhancing or developing new product functionality. . Work Experience: 2+ year experience in C++ programming. 1+ year experience in Java and Web Application 2+ year experience on Windows development environment. 1+ year experience on at least one flavor of the UNIX development environments (e.g. Linux, Solaris, AIX, or HP.).
