Technical Consultant: Enterprise Search Software Enterprise search is growing exponentially in its importance for companies to further harness the potential of Big Data. Responsibilities: Provide pre-sales support to commercial and Enterprise accounts Work with prospects and educate on how Lucene will help with their business Continue to learn and increase technical acumen regarding Lucene Present to both technical users and C-Level executives Attend customer calls and work with sales executives to discover, identify, and meet customer requirements Requirements: Documented track record of success working as a Pre-Sales Engineer in the high tech space Must have experience with enterprise search applications such as FAST, Endeca, Autonomy, etc. Exposure to open source projects such as Mahout, Hadoop, Tika, etc. Experience with Java development and scripting Experience working with both new accounts and existing user accounts Proven track record of consistently exceeding corporate objectives and quotas Experience working in a startup a plus Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience Compensation: $110,000 base salary, commensurate with experience Full benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) with employer match. Benefits start day one!
