We are looking for a Technical Director of Strategic Alliances to build and manage our 3rd-party integration partners' eco-system. This person will help us deliver a coherent strategic plan to integrate Qualys' security and compliance offerings into 3rd party solutions, helping join customers leverage their security and compliance data across their entire security practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical acumen who can initiate, develop and build lasting relationships with our integration partners, including leading vendors in these various technologies: Access Management, Help Desk Ticketing Systems, IDS/IPS, IT Governance, Risk and Compliance (IT-GRC), Penetration Testing, Risk Management, Security Intelligence, SIEM (Security Information & Event Management), Web Application Firewall Integration (WAF), and Web Application Testing. There is a clear expectation for the Director of Strategic Alliances to demonstrate specific and current domain expertise, which can be leveraged from day one to build and manage these integration partners. Candidates who meet the following baseline criteria will receive strong consideration for this role. Primary Responsibilities Strong technical background in IT security and compliance technologiesHelp develop joint value proposition between Qualys and integrations partners for joint customersHelp scope and define the integration between Qualys and its partners. Work with Qualys product, Engineering, Operations, and Marketing professionals to deliver the integration and take it to marketDevelop materials to support joint selling to customers and develop materials for and lead training sessions for partner organizations and their sales teamsEngage sales reps at both Qualys and partner organizations to ensure that they have the information and motivation required to successfully introduce the integrated product to joint customersHas the ability to negotiate contracts and work with legal to finalize integration contracts About You You have a BA/BS from a top university and/or a MBA or JD (preferred)You love developing joint solutions and value props between various offerings, and you know how to structure technology partnershipsYou have a minimum of 5-7 years of business development experience with systems integrators and/or technology companiesYou love working with customers, understanding their business needs, and delivering world-class programs to meet these needs.You have demonstrated the ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on time.You function well in a fast-paced, informal environment where constant change is the norm and the bar for delivering results is set high.Traveling 50%+ of the time to meet with your current and perspective strategic partners, gaining market intelligence, and ensuring our partnerships are helping customers address their needsExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
