DeLeon Realty, one of Silicon Valleys most respected and prestigious full:service real estate companies, is seeking a salaried Sales Specialist to represent buyers in the purchase of residential properties.
The Specialist is responsible for assisting buyers purchasing residential properties, and toward that end, is expected to develop relationships with new and existing clients and to gain a thorough knowledge of real estate and an assigned city or cities. Responsible for prospecting for new clients, retaining existing clients, and increasing opportunities with new and existing clients using a consultative selling approach to deliver value to our clients. Intense training program on real estate will be provided.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Manages and grows sales volume with existing and new clients. Prospects successfully to expand the client base with the expectation of incremental and steady growth;
* Hosts open houses, greet potential buyers, provide information, answer questions regarding neighborhood, comparable homes, disclosures, etc.;
* Follows:up on and nurtures leads;
* Negotiates contracts and closes sales;
* Remains up:to:date on inventory, industry, and technical real estate knowledge;
* Identifies key barriers/core problems and applies problem solving skills in order to deal creatively with complex situations. Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems. Makes decisions under conditions of uncertainty, sometimes with incomplete information, that produce effective end results;
* Independently performs assignments with instruction limited to results expected. Determines and develops approach to solutions.
* Provides feedback to management regarding lead quality and marketing campaign effectiveness.
* Builds a working knowledge and becomes an expert on all properties (active, pending, sold) within a given city, including all upcoming activities and changes within a given city.

Required Qualifications:
* At least 5+ years of proven sales experience (the sales experience need not be in real estate);
* Thorough knowledge of one or more of the following cities: Atherton, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Woodside and/or Portola Valley
* Real estate license preferred. If no license, candidate must sit and pass the real estate exam within 3 months of being hired;
* Entrepreneurial spirit, highly motivated, independent, and a strong desire to succeed. Can do attitude a must
* Strong negotiation skills;
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
* Professional appearance, great listener, with excellent networking skills;
* Client focus mentality, with excellent client service skills;
* Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales goals in a remote position;
* Commitment to be flexible with work hours and work overtime as necessary.
