Job DescriptionAny location in the USA: We are looking to hire a sharp, creative, analytical Sales Director with a high cognitive ability to lead our growing team of sales reps. We need an energetic professional sales leader who has led Sales Development teams (who cold-call booking appointments for higher level sales people) for a SaaS based company, ideally more than once. This role must understand the importance of metrics, and driving performance by KPIs. In this position you will hire, train and manage your team and motivate them to exceed objectives through coaching, regular broadcast of results, & creative incentives. This is a critical position within our growing, emerging firm, where we have experienced tremendous success and are poised to see this momentum continue double fold. OTE up to $250k + excellent benefits. What we are looking for: 3-5+ years of experience in sales management or sales development management plus proven, personal record of sales success Overachiever with a consistent record of managing teams to exceed performance goals Proven ability to hire, develop and retain talented and motivated people Strong track record of managing daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly objectives Experience selling enterprise software applications highly preferred Successful track record in a mid-market and enterprise focused sales environment, preferably at an emerging growth company Exceptional skill in lead qualification, advanced outbound prospecting, buyer persona messaging and overcoming objections Outstanding written and verbal communication and organizational skills Excellent presentation and listening skills Proficiency in Salesforce Responsibilities include assessing our existing inside sales model, implementing new tools, processes, and content to improve effectiveness, report on sales activity and provide forecasts to senior sales management.
