We are a well-established Design/Build Construction Company in Half Moon Bay. Our projects vary from decks and siding to new home construction and major remodels and everything else in between. We're looking for a Production Manager who can work closely with all Project Leads to ensure each project starts and finishes in a smooth and timely manner. Position Details: Work directly with the Project Leads, President and Office Manager to ensure all projects operate smoothly, efficiently, and on or below budget. Serve as the primary contact for clients, field crew and sub-contractors throughout the project. Scheduling of field crew each week Submit for building permits and contact necessary agencies/subcontractors when revisions necessary Aid and contribute to maintenance of online Project Management system Ordering of Materials for projects Answer phones, emails, etc. as necessary Aid in the acquisition of field crew as needed Maintaining production board for upcoming/ongoing projects Sending out bid requests to subcontractors as needed to aid Estimator or President. Review time cards and material receipts submitted by field crew to ensure accuracy prior to submittal to financial controller Attend weekly safety meetings with the Production Crew Create project schedules through use of Microsoft Project Site visits daily or every other day for accurate reporting of project status to President and to aid in catching mistakes before it’s too late Verify placement of plumbing, electrical, etc. with homeowners in effort to streamline work needed by subcontractors. Position Requirements: Must have minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a construction office Must possess reliable transportation and a valid California Driver's License. Working knowledge and understanding of California building codes and building inspection requirements is a must for this position. Ability to understand and communicate in clear and precise English Have great attention to detail, be well organized, show initiative, visualize concepts effectively and work well with others Ability to understand and communicate the scope of work and timeline with the crew while being able to adapt to changing deadlines Ability to obtain bids from vendors and self-performed labor to create modifications or change orders where needed You're a perfect fit for our company if you are honest, self-motivated, and willing to learn and share ideas all while maintaining a positive attitude.
