Job Description:/h3:
Job Summary:

Create, maintain, and repair the electronic components and equipment used at the MRP and the Shredder.

Primary Responsibilities:
Inspect electrical equipment and evaluate how well it is working.
Perform wiring installations within the plant.
Perform conduit bending and installation.
Perform motor and transformer maintenance and repairs.
Maintain and replace (as needed) manual and automatic control devices (sensors, controllers, actuators, PLCs etc.)
Maintain the facilitys electric grid (4160 v, 480 v, 120 v).
Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Associates degree in electrical, or, electronic engineering technology, or 5 years of related work experience.
Knowledge and understanding of the National Electric Code (NEC) and the California Electric Code.
Must have good deductive reasoning skills to identify electrical problems in complex electrical grids, isolate the problems and fix them.
Manual dexterity: must be able to use hand tools and handle small electrical components and pull wires.
Must pass pre:employment physical and drug screen.
Ability to speak and understand English
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, electrical blue prints, procedures, correspondence and memos.
Must be able to work OT on Saturdays and sometimes Sundays.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
