The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of networking related projects as an integral part of the Ariba Cloud Operations team. In this high:impact position you will work closely with cross functional stakeholders to set goals focused on driving requirements gathering and planning against agreed upon delivery dates. You are detail:oriented and able to understand the bigger picture by using your technical expertise and sharp problem:solving abilities to prioritize and manage blocking issues.
:Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent
:Minimum 5 years of experience with managing networking or IT:related projects
:Experience with managing IT projects involving switch, router, firewall, load balancer
:Must be dynamic to embrace and adopt/manage changes in projects and be able to work in diverse environments
:Must be able to present a clear project status to upper management on a timely manner
:Experience and flexibility working with remote team members.
:Good understanding of various networking technologies and platforms
:Excellent verbal and written communication skills
:Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CCSP/CCIE certification or equivalent is a plus
:Manage networking projects for network engineering team
:Lead a project from initiation to completion
:Provide upper management and stakeholders with timely status updates
:Manage and control changes to a project by working with stakeholders
:Identify the critical path of a project to assess and mitigate risks for meeting the project timeline
:Create and maintain tools to track organizational metrics or enhance team productivity as needed
