Responsibilities Senior Construction Financial Analyst will report to the Manager of Construction Accounting and assist in preparing and reviewing reporting and analyses prepared by other construction financial analysts. This person will also spend time on special projects assigned by the manager. Review monthly reporting packages to investors; Review construction loans' monthly funding requests to lenders, and monthly/quarterly reporting packages to lenders; Review/prepare monthly/quarterly reporting and analyses for management and other departments. Assist with other departments' and external auditors' requests as needed; Assist with financing budgets for Proforma of new Development deals. Assist with setup of original budgets and budget changes for Development projects into accounting system. Update impairment analyses for Development projects; Update monthly/quarterly interest expense details, and debt schedule. Review Development/CMS/Redevelopment Mechanics Liens and other Legal issues tracker before issuing monthly to Legal department; Review Development projects' Bond tracker quarterly updates to Development department; Review General Contractors' Due Diligence bi-annual updates for Development projects, and assist with underwriting potential new General Contractors; Prepare quarterly audit of permissions and users' group changes for the Job Cost module of accounting system; Review of Construction Financial Analysts' work. Backup to other positions in the department as needed. Special projects as needed to assist Construction Financial Analyst Manager. Requirements A valid driver's license and current automobile insurance is required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree; construction accounting knowledge preferred; 5-10 years of experience preferred; Must be proficient in Excel and Word; Yardi knowledge preferred; Must be able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines; Must have excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills, and strong attention to detail; Must be able to work independently as well as with others.
